Convo

It was very wet and cold at Lexis Noosa this afternoon so what better way to warm up than with a hot cup of coffee, play board games and practice our English!

Breakfast with Style!

Our Sunset Afternoon Classes are hard at work preparing and making their very own omelettes for breakfast.

With the ingredients given they had to create the tastiest omelette and present to the group.

Hope you enjoyed your morning of cooking and look forward to seeing you on the next morning activity!

Aussie Food Tasting

Our Sunset classes got to enjoy the amazing Aussie food tasting this morning as their Wednesday activity! The students get to try out Australian Musk sticks, Caramello Koalas, Tim tams, Anzac biscuits, Lamingtons, Sausage rolls, Vegemite and lastly Fairy bread.

AFT7

It’s great to see our students speaking English and trying good old Australian food!

I’m sure you can guess everybody’s reaction to Vegemite!

AFT3

Hope you all enjoyed your activity and can’t wait to see you on the next one!

Friday afternoon surfing!

This afternoon Lexis Noosa students enjoyed a surf lesson down at Noosa Main Beach. Considering the temperature is 33 degrees today i’m sure the students were more than happy to spend the afternoon in the water.

Noosa learn to surf

The lesson only costs the students $30 and lasts for 2 hours. I think that is a pretty great activity. Especially in this beautiful weather.

Wine Tasting

We love our wine here at Lexis Noosa!

4

This afternoon we tried six different wines from across Australia and the New Zealand regions. Starting off with Brown Brothers Moscato (which I think was the students favourite), Hardys Stamp of Australia Savignon Blanc, Toi Toi Marlborough Pinot Gris, Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese Rose, Hardys Stamp of Australia Shiraz and the Jacobs Creek Merlot. Delicious!!

Oh course there wouldn’t be wine tasting without a cheese platter ๐Ÿ™‚
