This afternoon Lexis Noosa students made their way to KB’s and enjoyed a few games of volleyball!
This is such a great activity for the students to be physical, have some fun & get to know each other.

Description: Sound Feast is an incredible FREE concert at The J Theatre featuring awesome bands and performers. We have high quality sound and lighting to give both performers and the audience a whole concert experience.
Full bar and bar snacks. Delicious hot food available on the deck.
Beginning in January 2016, Sound Feast has quickly become very popular with a strong community following. Lots of wonderful musicians have graced our stage and many magical musical nights have occurred. It’s family friendly, no booking required.

What: Amma Sunshine Coast Free Program Devi Bhava (World Peace Program
When/Where: Sunday 28th April 2019
Description: Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi) one of India’s most renowned spiritual leaders will be giving a free program of blessings in the form of a hug.
The program starts with spiritual talks, guided group meditation and a special ceremony invoking the Goddess Devi, for World Peace, and then after that Amma begins receiving people for hugs. During the evening there is also a cultural program of live bands playing Indian spiritual music.
Sometimes known as “The Hugging Saint” Amma is estimated to have hugged 37 million people worldwide.
Hugs are given according to a token system, and tokens begin being handed out about 90 minutes before the program starts. Food and beverages are available for purchase at the venue.
Bookings are not necessary. All welcome.

This afternoon the Lexis Noosa students headed to the Table Tennis table to find out who is the best at playing table tennis at Lexis Noosa!
If was a hard competition but there can only be 1 winner……….. and Quentin came in at first place. Second place went to Lea, third place went to Abdulelah and lucky fourth went to Mathis.

This afternoon our Lexis Noosa student spend their time exploring the Noosa river.
It is such a beautiful way to explore our Noosa river system and wildlife that live there.

Today our Lexis Noosa students battled it out against each other for eternal glory as the greatest player at Lexis Noosa!!
16 players have entered in the competition and and by the end we will only have 1 winner.
Congratulations to our first place winner, Javier!! Pol came in at second place and third place went to Luca.

Today our students went exploring at the Noosa National Park.
Nestled on the doorstep of the famous tourist town of Noosa, this popular park features some of South East Queensland’s most picturesque scenery. Discover secluded beaches, rugged coastal features and views from the iconic headland at Noosa Heads. Spot dolphins frolicking in the ocean at Boiling Pot and Dolphin Point, and be thrilled as thunderous waves crash into the rocks below Hell’s Gates. Keep your eyes peeled for a diverse range of wildlife that live in the park, from sleepy koalas perched on branches to glossy black-cockatoos squawking overhead.

What a beautiful day to explore the Noosa River with a stand up paddle board or kayak!!
And that’s exactly what our Lexis Noosa students did for the afternoon. They hired a stand up paddle board or kayak for an hour and explored the Noosa River near our famous Hastings Street and Noosa Main beach.
It looks like our students had a wonderful time on the water!

Let’s have a look at what activities are being done at Lexis Noosa this week!
This afternoon the Lexis Noosa students learnt some Muay Thai moves.
The students walked down to Pinaroo Park where the lesson was going to take place. First of all the teacher showed us some moves and quickly ran through the background of the sports so that we could get an understanding of what Muay Thai Martial Arts is and the history behind it.
We love doing these kinds of activities so that the students get to learn about different cultures!
Hope you all loved learning some Muay Thai.
This afternoon Lexis Noosa students participated in a HIIT class taught by our wonderful homestay coordinator Simona.
The students were excited it get a little bit of exercise in before the weekend! But there were also many laughs and a lot of fun had.
In the class they did many different exercises such as squats, lunges, bridges and much more.
This afternoon the students enjoyed some volleyball and badminton at Pinaroo park.
The students split into two groups. One played badminton first and the other played volleyball. Once the teams had a bit of time playing one sport they then swapped!

If you haven’t already than you must go exploring through the Noosa National Park! It’s a beautiful walk along a coastal track and stunning views like this one. Don’t forget to look up high for a cuddly koala around the Tea Tree Bay area.
Eumundi Markets are a must see tourist attraction on the Sunshine Coast! It is on Wednesday and Saturday mornings starting at 7am. Just need to catch the bus 630 from the Noosa Junction station and get off at Eumundi Station. Have fun exploring the hand made items at the markets and enjoying all the delicious food and drink stalls. Yum!!
Another must see tourist attraction would have to be the world famous Crocodile Hunter Australia Zoo at Beerwah. You can catch a greyhound bus from the Noosa Junction and it will take you there and back for the day. If you need help booking see the wonderful staff members at the Student Uni Travel store located near the school.
Another weekend idea could be to hire a kayak or stand up paddle board and explore the Noosa River. Just see the friendly staff at Boardwalk Boat Hire down near the Sofitel Jetty in Noosa Heads.
There is always plenty of music to listen to around the Noosa Heads area!
Cafe Le Monde has live music from Captain Squidlicker & The Sinking Ships starting from 8.30pm Friday night. Join your friends for some dinner and drinks and have a wonderful night out!
Aromas Noosa has the best cocktails in the town. It’s located on Hastings street it’s the perfect location to take a seat and watch the day go by.
The Driving Force Tour are gearing up for an epic night in Noosa this Friday and Cornerstone can’t wait to have them live on stage.
Nestled among fragrant gum trees, the footy grounds become a hive of activity for the Noosa Farmers Market. The markets offer plenty of different stalls including organic produce, skin care products, marinades, sauces, skin care products, freshly baked breads and cheeses.
With a weekend of spring sunshine ahead, a swim or surf at Noosa Main Beach sounds like the perfect remedy to a long working week!

Lexis Noosa students spent the afternoon down at Pinaroo Park enjoying some drinks and food while playing volleyball and getting to know one another.
