Friday afternoon surfing!

This afternoon Lexis Noosa students enjoyed a surf lesson down at Noosa Main Beach. Considering the temperature is 33 degrees today i’m sure the students were more than happy to spend the afternoon in the water.

Noosa learn to surf

The lesson only costs the students $30 and lasts for 2 hours. I think that is a pretty great activity. Especially in this beautiful weather.

Starting off with Brown Brothers Moscato (which I think was the students favourite), Hardys Stamp of Australia Savignon Blanc, Toi Toi Marlborough Pinot Gris, Yalumba Y Series Sangiovese Rose, Hardys Stamp of Australia Shiraz and the Jacobs Creek Merlot. Delicious!!

Oh course there wouldn’t be wine tasting without a cheese platter 🙂

CAE Triathlon Star – Robin Hermann

Huge congratulations to Lexis Noosa’s CAE student, 19 year old Robin Hermann who last Sunday competed in the Mooloolaba Triathlon and achieved second place in his 18-24 age category and placed 43rd overall. Not only is this an outstanding achievement in itself but the icing on the cake is that he has qualified for the World Championships in South Africa in 2018. He started his daily triathlon training 5 years ago and represents Team Koach in Switzerland. Robin said “Everyday I go out and train to reach my goals and this was one of them. My dream came true last Sunday”. His teacher Anne and his classmates are so proud of him and his success. Robin still made it to class on Monday and completed his homework!
