Housekeeping Attendant

This is your opportunity to join our Housekeeping team. As a key member, you will be representing our friendly and professional service philosophy. Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• By carrying out allocated general cleaning duties, achieving established standards of cleanliness and presentation to meet guests’ needs and exceed their expectations in regard to the cleanliness of the room areas of the hotel
• Clean guest rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated to the required standard
• Ensure guest supplies and advertising material in bedrooms and bathrooms are replenished to the correct standards
• Report any lost property following correct procedures
• Carry out programmed and regular cleaning duties as allocated
• Ensure guest laundry is handled in line with Hotel policy
• Use and clean equipment with care, reporting any defective equipment as set down in procedures manual
• Assist with regular equipment stocktaking
• Ensure the security of keys and guest rooms at all times by adherence to security procedures. Report any suspicious persons or items to Supervisor
• Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturers instructions
• Attend and actively participate in all OH&S training required of you by the Hotel
• Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practises

• Previous cleaning, customer service or hospitality experience

House keeper Peregian Beach
We’re a family with mum, dad, two girls aged 2 years and 6 months and one cat, living in Peregian Beach. We’re looking for a very organised housekeeper to help us for about 3hrs/day Mon-Fri in the late afternoon and early evening (eg 3pm-6pm, hours negotiable), doing things you would do in your own home: cooking meals, laundry, cleaning, errands and odd jobs – anything that needs doing. We’re looking for someone who can see what needs to be done and loves a well-run, clean and tidy house. We may also ask you to mind one daughter while mum is busy with the other (eg watching our toddler while baby is put down to sleep). Extra work may be available at times if desired.

Previous experience is essential, either working in a private home or company (resort cleaning, restaurant cooking etc). We are offering $20-$25/hour all inclusive depending on experience. Start date is ASAP.

Promotion Work
ONLY apply for this position if you are a FUN, OUTGOING applicant who is available for ALL of the below hours and happy to wear a costume for the duration of each shift:
Fri 13th March: 2pm-7.30pm
Sat 14th March: 9am-5pm
Sun 15th March: 7.30am-1pm
You will be working in-costume in the exhibitor trade area of Mooloolaba Triathlon over these 3 days, and will be required to hand out vouchers/wave @ passing traffic/dance etc. MUST turn up on time, and complete every shift to be paid for all work. 10 minute break allowed/hour + 30mins for lunch on Sat 14th March.
Pay is $20 hr.
