Healthy Cooking Class: Raw Foods

Raw foods are about being unprocessed, unrefined, and cold pressed and never headed above 44 degrees Celsius. This means that living enzymes in the food remain intact and that your body can easily digest and assimilate every nutrient and deliver them to every cell in your body. This process gives you an abundance of energy and vitality, while feeling nourished, strong and healthy.

Today’s workshop, we focused on preparing a delicious raw dessert using a range of  healthy ingredients. The students learned about the benefits of each ingredient that we used and also learnt some new words and meanings.
