An opportunity has become available for a casual Handyperson with previous experience in a similar role and strives in providing excellent customer service.

This position will assist the Maintenance team during peak periods including school holidays and staff annual leave coverage.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Carry out routine repair work, gardening and cleaning duties
  • Attend to guests and members technical enquiries
  • Liaise with internal departments such as front desk reception and housekeeping to assist with general room maintenance
  • Maintain the workshop, plant rooms and store rooms in a clean and tidy manner and maintain all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Other duties as directed by the Maintenance & Grounds Manager

To be successful in this role you will ideally hold a current white card, possess strong problem solving techniques, initiative, demonstrate excellent customer service and organisational skills. A trade qualification is desired, however, not essential with the ability to work unsupervised.

Applicants must hold a valid Driver’s Licence.

This casual opportunity will work across a 7-day roster.

Availability for day, evening, weekend and school holiday shifts is essential to be considered.

Japanese cookery apprenticeship

Objectives of the role:

We are a Japanese restaurant based in Noosaville and are currently looking to take on an enthusiastic Commercial Cookery Apprentice to join our team.

Our restaurant has a lunch and dinner menu which consists of well executed comfort food. Working alongside the Head Chef the candidate will be required to perform general kitchen duties such as prep, service, cleaning and any other jobs relating as required by the Head Chef or Manager.

This will be a great opportunity to learn from very experienced tradespeople and gain the knowledge and experience required to excel in your field of interest and develop a successful career in Japanese and Asian food.
