  • Being a handyman requires a certain level of fitness, strength and endurance in order to complete certain jobs. The right candidate will need to demonstrate this.
  • A strong attention to detail is essential.

  • Although no formal handyman experience is required, preference will naturally be given to those that do have a trade or factory/warehouse background.
  • Australian driver’s license essential
  • Minimum 12 months consistent work experience required
  • Australian permanent resident or citizens only

Being a handyman includes a wide range of trades and jobs such as painting, landscaping, gardening, general repairs, concreting, various wall mounts, carpentry, pressure cleaning, and lots more. For most jobs, there is no manual available and very often common sense will prevail. A good handyman is therefore someone that knows what to ask, where to look and how best to approach a task, keeping the end goal in mind.
The role of an Assistant Handyman or Property Maintenance Assistant is simply to support the handyman onsite. There is very little administration, although over time this would become part of the role as you gain experience and are given more autonomy.

  • Casual, average 20hrs per week, with view to going part/full time within 3 – 6 months.
  • $21 per hour
  • Mon-Fri only (working times vary between 7:30am and 4pm)

Housekeepers / Cleaners
Green Lime Cleaning – Noosa Heads QLD

Green Lime Cleaning currently requires contract cleaners for our resort, holiday home and holiday unit clients.

Servicing properties located between Noosa and Peregian Beach, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing resort rooms, holiday homes and holiday units located between Noosa Heads (Hastings Street) and Peregian Beach, mainly between 9:30am and 3:00pm. You will be required to work across 7 days with some weekend work on most weeks.

To join us, you need:
– Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a resort/holiday home environment
– Be available for an immediate start;
– Reliability, an eye for detail and the ability to work independently;
– Flexibility to work across 7 days
– Able to supply contact details for two (2) referees we can speak with;
– An ABN (or be prepared to get one);
– A current police clearance;
– A reliable car.

In return, you will be:
-Paid a competitive “per property cleaned” rate;
-Supplied with all chemicals and products (NB: you will need to supply your own vacuum cleaner and mop/bucket)
-Supported throughout your initial training and provided with your rostered cleans each week in advance;
-Receive a complimentary uniform shirt (to be worn while working for us with black shorts).
