Noosa’s 7-1 victory against Maroochydore

Yesterday, Noosa played its monthly soccer match against Maroochydore Lexis English. With a fresh new team, the students were getting to know one another and understanding how they played on field.

The Maroochydore side were the first team to place a ball in the back of the net, and Noosa came back quickly evening the score and adding another before half time bringing the score 2-1 in their favour.

After some refreshing drinks and oranges, and a change in starting team, the Noosa team came out firing, working well as a team, placing ball after ball in the back of the net!. Well done to our goals scorers; Will, Lucus, Kengo, and Park, but we couldn’t of scored without the help of our midfield; Miryu, Ragi, Dan, Akane (C). Lisa played extremely well covering all bases of the fields from attacking to pushing back and defending when needed. Paula missed a few shots at goal, however, she played well up front with Lucas and Akane placing some nice through balls assisting our attacks. Our defense was solid second half with Ben coming out from Goal Keeper, and not allowing one ball go past him. Peter played well with Sandro and Wayme made some lovely saves as goal keeper. Sam played well also in defense until his barefoot defending took toll giving him a few nasty blisters (don’t forget your shoes next time will you Sam)! Man of the match will have to go to a newest player Kengo for his amazing skill, team work, ball passing and impeccable shots at goal. Well done to Noosa, with a 7-1 victory at the end of the match, a well deserved score with some amazing team work, making your coach very proud!
