Teacher Sarah always has novel ways of presenting her classes.
Teacher Sarah has prepared a very interesting music option. For the music option this week, teacher Sarah asked her students to choose a popular song and re-write some of the lyrics. The other classmates then listened to the song and had to find the ‘wrong’ lyrics. A great activity to build vocabulary and improve listening skills. The students came up with some wonderful examples.
Our personal favorite is Alex Pitarch’s song -The Beatles- ‘I want to hold your hand’. He changed the lyrics to ‘I want to hold your neck’…and ‘I want to hold your leg’…and ‘I don’t want to hold your head’
