Tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m half Scottish and half Tanzanian and have lived all over the world in countries including Brazil, The Netherlands, South Africa and Cambodia. I love to travel and learn about new cultures, try new foods and listen to new music.
What did you do before coming to Noosa?
Before coming to Noosa I had studied international relations and development and completed a masters in urban development planning before working at the United Nations in Kenya. In 2012 I spent 6 months in Brazil studying Portuguese and learning to communicate in a new country and culture. After this I worked and taught at a school in Cairo, Egypt, helping students to improve and expand their academic knowledge in English in order to study abroad.
Wow you have worked in some interesting places! What made you choose to come to Noosa?
I’m here in Noosa to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, learn to surf, and teach English 🙂
