Friday Afternoon Yoga

For those students who are lucky enough to attend the Lexis English College in Noosa, once a month on Fridays we offer a lovely and relaxing Yoga session to all the full time students. Today’s yoga session began with Nadi Shodhana which is a channel breathing that lowers the heart rate and reduces stress and anxiety. It is also used to synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain and purify the subtle energy channels (nadis) of the body so the prana flows more easily during pranayama and asana practice. After the pranayama the students were gently led into a revitalising and relaxing yoga session. What a lovely start to the weekend. Namasta.
