What a lovely afternoon for some Aussie wine and cheese tasting. Although some students who were singing Karaoke last night at student night were visibly absent at the tasting, I wonder why… 😉
It was a great opportunity for the students to taste some Australian wine through a blind tasting and attempt to guess the correct region, year, grape variety and costs of each one.
There were five wines to taste, two white and three reds from all the famous Aussie regions including; McLaren Vale, Barossa and the Hunter Valley.
It was a relaxing way to kick off the end of the working week.
Congratulations to Manuel and Erika who received the highest score in the blind tasting and won a lovely bottle of Cabernet Merlot form Western Australia’s Margret River!
