Healthy Food Workshop

What a great way to spend a Friday afternoon then preparing some yummy, healthy and delicious foods. It was also a good chance to run through why we need certain macro and micro nutrients and how do we know if we are getting enough?

Today, we had three recipes to prepare in order to make an to make an idea meal.  They include Immune Power Green Smoothie, Quinoa Tabbouleh, and a Healthy Chicken Patty served with a side of coriander and chill hummus.

The students had a great time preparing the food, but an even greater eating it!!
