Soccer Madness with Noosa and Sunshine Coast campuses

There’s no doubt that Lexis Noosa and Lexis Sunshine Coast have a on-going Soccer rivalry that seem’s to get bigger and bigger with every game. Wednesday the 26th was game day for the campuses, and a great match was produced.

The match begun with Maroochydore scoring early in the first half, and then following up again with another goal both from the same player (Ruben). Tension was rising amongst the players, but Noosa’s own Stefano was able to sneak in two goals of his own before half time, leveling the scores to 2-2.

With both teams hungry for the victory, a brilliant game of soccer was played during the second half, but with the (controversial) penalty that gave Ruben from Maroochydore a third goal, Noosa’s hopes were dismal. But that didn’t stop Saad, powering through to equalize the scores to 3-3 once again, raising hope in the Noosa side. However this was not Noosa’s match, with Maroochydore’s Ruben scoring a final goal in the last minutes of the second half, bring the final score to 4-3.

Congratulations to the Maroochydore side for the victory, and a big congratulations to the Noosa side also, we’ll get them next time guys!

After some great darts thrown by Christina hitting a few triple twenties and Abdul throwing some nice shots; the scores were neck and neck. MasterChef Noosa Style

Three teams of five assembled in groups for the Noosa Master Chef challenge. The team had the choice of five core ingredients and unlimited use of herbs and spices. Image

They had thirty minutes to prepare and cook their dishes and plate it up for the judges.

The Master Chef Judges (Lori and Cath) had a difficult choice to make choosing their favourite dish that was plated up for them. Two great pasta dishes were made, along with a creative rice dish rolled in egg and cabbage.Image

In the end the judges decided that by look it was the rice dish that was best, but by taste, the spaghetti pasta dish was the winner.

Well done and enjoy your Coles voucher!
