A+ for Lexis English Teachers!

Last Friday, Lexis English Director of Studies Becky Cantor, held a professional development session for teachers on using the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) descriptors for writing progress reports on our students. As the text books are geared to these levels and descriptors, it means that the teachers can accurately link what a student can produce in English to the level they are sitting in.

Here are some nice photos of the teachers being very studious (it was a tough session).

The outcome is that comments on the reports become more accurate, and helpful for students to achieve their English ability goals!

Well done Jason!

Congratulations to Jason Choi for placing 3rd in the Noosa News 5km run at the Noosa Winter Festival – Jason received a bronze medal for his efforts in the 5km run!

Lexis Noosa V Nomads Noosa

It was an international battle today at the Nomads Noosa sand volleyball court.

Students decided to verse the backpackers staying at the Nomads Noosa hostel this afternoon. The game started on par with each team creeping up to 21 point by point. There was a little break when someone hit the ball on the roof and a brave female backpacker climbed up to get the ball whilst the men bonded by the volleyball net. It was a very close game but our Lexis students won by 2 points. We are just too good!
