A tennis competition was underway today at the Noosa Leisure Center. The students had a lot of fun hitting around the tennis ball and running around in the warm sun! Well done to the two Swiss boys for winning the tournament. Enjoy your gift voucher for Pardon’s Fruit Shop.

Congratulations to Pollyana and Jonatas Oliveira, our wonderful students from last year, on the birth of their beautiful daughter Joy Olivia! They live in Dallas Texas at the moment and Polly calls her baby the American cowgirl! We wish them all the luck and happiness in the world and miss them at our school.

MasterChef Noosa Style

Three teams of five assembled in groups for the Noosa Master Chef challenge. The team had the choice of five core ingredients and unlimited use of herbs and spices.

They had thirty minutes to prepare and cook their dishes and plate it up for the judges.

The Master Chef Judges (Lori and Cath) had a difficult choice to make choosing their favourite dish that was plated up for them. Two great pasta dishes were made, along with a creative rice dish rolled in egg and cabbage.

In the end the judges decided that by look it was the rice dish that was best, but by taste, the spaghetti pasta dish was the winner.

Lexis will open its first off-shore campus on August 5th

Lexis English is pleased to announce the opening of the group’s first off-shore campus, Lexis Korea.

Lexis Korea will offer high-quality Korean language programs, accommodation and activity services to international students in Asia’s new world city – Gangnam, Seoul.

Yoga Afternoon

Birthday’s in June celebration :)

A birthday party was organised today to celebrate birthdays in June! With Bob Marley playing in the background, a fun game of pass the parcel kept the students entertained. After Saad unwrapped the fine parcel winning himself ‘ the best of beer and BBQ’ songs, we then moved on to ‘pin the tail on the kangaroo’.

The closest to the tail was Martin and Marina who won a Harmonica and a Jewellery hanger.

Happy Birthday to everyone who has birthday in June!
